Huge Monsters

Earlier this season, I finished 9th at Grand Prix Charleston with Green-White Humans.

Silverblade Paladin

In the weeks that followed, Rakdos decks with four copies of Knight of Infamy became popular, and it became much more difficult to win with small white creatures.

Today, I found a deck that plays much the same kind of game as the Green-White Humans deck, but incorporates more green creatures like Strangleroot Geist and Thragtusk that can be particularly problematic for Rakdos. The deck still uses Silverblade Paladin and Sublime Archangel to turn any attacker into a huge monster, but it also supports a variety of five-mana creatures that earn the title all by themselves.

My one criticism of the deck is that I think it doesn't have enough mana sources. I would cut Dryad Militant for another Avacyn's Pilgrim and add at least one more land.
